Hi,

I wonder if there is any possibility to change the monitor (if multiple) to which the sequencer is shown on and to toggle between full screen or changeble size window? I do not wish to show the main toolbar in the sequence so that is not selected in the Sequencer View options.

My users are using the sequence from a shortcut and will hence not start dewesoft and be able to change the display before starting the sequence. Using CTRL+F or F11 to enable and disable full screen did only give me the option to hide/show the Main Toolbar Buttons (not including tabs).

It could be acceptable to show the main toolbar in parts of the sequence, but I cannot find a way to toggle this option as I can with e.g. "Show display property panels ad channel selector" within an action block in the sequence?

Dear Benjamin,

thank you for reaching out to us. DewesoftX starts on the display that it was last closed. So if DewesoftX was running on the second monitor when it was closed it will be displayed on the second monitor the next time it is opened. In Sequencer there is an Action block with function SetFullScreen (this needs to be set to True) that sets DewesoftX to full screen mode.

It is also possible to start DewesoftX in full screen mode, loading sequencer and starting the measurement. This can be set in startup settings.

There is an option to attach the displays to a specific monitor (DisplayManager).

Kind regards.

Hi,

I see that I could come around my issue on one computer by opening and closing dewesoft (not only the sequence), but this become rather difficult with many users and many different optional screens. Please see the attached slides to further understand my issue and i've tried to state some more precise questions.

Dear Benjamin,

thank you for the pdf document. One workaround would be to press escape key, or CTRL+f (leaving full screen mode) when in full screen mode then you can move the windows by pressing windows key and the use arrows (left, right, up, down) to position the DewesoftX window to another monitor. To change back to full screen press CTRL+f key combination. We also have a security settings where the user would need a password to change specific settings.

Would this workaround be sufficient?

Kind regards.

Hi,

Not the smoothest but very smart way to work around the issue. Will use it, thanks!
