Binding PushButton to Key

Hello,

I am new to DewesoftX and have been using it mainly with the DSA package to make Ping test and structural vibration testing.

I have found during the ping test that it is pretty tricky to get a modal shape because :

• You need to hit the structure with the hammer several times for the average
• then need to go to the next excitation point by clicking on the button on the screen.

So if i have 10 point for the modal shape to hit it will mean go back and forth from laptop to chassis 10 times, which is not convenient.

I could use some wireless keyboard to help me switch to other points, but i can seem to find a way to bind a key that would trigger a button press like the shortcuts we have for the application.

it seems that the button is bound to a channel, but is there a way to trigger that channel with a key shortcut ?

It would be nice if there was a way to remote trigger that kind of event so that we don't have to walk that much :)

with the current structure, we cannot offer any "out of the box" solution to trigger buttons in the Modal test module to switch points (There is no way to trigger that channels with a key shortcut).

At the moment the best solution would be to use Google Remote desktop (or any other app) and press the buttons from a mobile phone or an additional tablet.

We also added this request to our wish list and we expect to support this functionality in the future.
