Is it possible to reference the X-Axis "location" property of RMS markers within formulae? Are there plans to provide a drop down properties list during formula composition for any entered objects after typing the '.' reference.... like what Delphi does? Otherwise, is there a document describing what properties are available for all objects supported within the formula GUI dialog?

Dear John,

thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately there is no option to reference the X-Axis "location" of RMS markers. The RMS markers only output the RMS value inside defined region. Since the marker are positioned manually the value of the X-Axis locations are known. For now there are no plans to provide drop down properties list during formula composition. Documentation for all the available objects (Operators and Mathematical Function, Arrays, Example of logic functions, Example of input events, Example of signals, Example of measure functions, Example of stopwatch) within the formula GUI is in the online manual.

Kind regards.

Thanks Gregor.

However I notice a new feature in 2021.4 that states "option to use scalar channels to drive marker positions". Can you provide an example of this as applied to RMS markers?

Dear John,

the option to use scalar channels to drive marker positions is possible on: Damping, Free, Harmonic, Kinematic and Sideband markers. In the attached video is a demonstration of Free marker position from channel calculating the sine frequency.

Kind Regards.
