Can you explain the convention for absolute time when exporting data?
Im using DeweSoft X SP1
on attached pictures there is the same file exported with absolute time (the first one) and with relative time (the second one).
Relative starts with 0 when the measurement begins, the absolute is exact time of the day.
Thanks, I understand the concept of absolute time. The issue was the conversion of the absolute time number into DD-MMM-YYYY HH:MM:SS format: for example turning 735896.3921917477 into '24-Oct-2014 09:24:45'. It turns out that Matlab and Excel have different conventions for that start of absolute time (Matlab is 0th January 0000, Excel is 1st of January 1900). Dewesoft appears to be the same as Matlab.
