OPC Server and DEWESoft

In the dim and distant past, there was an OPC server developed by a third party for Dewetron to work with DEWESoft. It allegedly worked with DEWESoft 7.0x and Windows XP.

The world has moved on and Windows XP is no longer flavour of the month. However, the need for exporting to a platform-independent format is still there. DEWESoft does not currently have a plug-in to do this but I wonder if anyone out there has developed and tested an OPC server that works? The problem I am having may be to do with Windows7 and not DEWESoft but it is hard to tell!
