What new PC to run dewesoft

I have a couple of PCs I use for data acquisition and off line analysis. A Panasonic Toughbook CF-53A and a Dell precision M4600 respectively. The Toughbook won't support any version of the mapping tool. Neither PC will support the latest (X3 SP9 and beyond) mapping tool.

I'll be replacing the Dell M4600 soon, then the Toughbook what is the minimum spec of GDU I will need to run the mapping tool? I guess this comes down to OpenGL and Direct X support (my M4600 is at Open GL4.3 and directx 11).

Anyone out there got a newer Dell (precision or XPS or latitude) that is working with X3 SP12 and makes the mapping tool work properly?

The latest Toughbook 55 will do Open GL4.5 and Direct X 12 ... and very pricey, so something of a risk unless I'm sure it will work.

Hi Nick,

In general, we recommend the following Specifications https://dewesoft.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/14000102973?lang=en. For Mapping you can use a more capable graphics card, but we don't have a special requirement for it.

One of my colleagues has the XPS where mapping works perfectly.

I hope you find this information useful for your decision making.
