Sirius-HS filtering

The Sirius hardware manual contains an excellent chapter on filtering, with significant focus on the CD and HD versions. I notice that there is no mention about the filtering as implemented on the Sirius-HS. I've read though the manual on "Filtering on Dewesoft HS amplifiers" which gives a much better insight. However I still have a question about the phase response of the filters as implemented in the HS units.

Does Dewesoft correct for the phase shift introduced by the filters, both the analog and digital ones? I am asking since in the Sirius manual (1.5.0) it is explained that the custom LPF is an IIR filter which introduces a phase shift. Yet in the Sirius-HS, this is still the same selection procedure.

Thanks!

Dear Edward,

No, DEWESoft doesn't correct the shift introduced by the filters. You see the signal exactly as is captured. Internal phase shift could easily become problematic since the user wouldn't have the information about the phase shift. This also means that if you have filters of high order or no filter there will be some phase shift.
