Self check of analog channel on SIRIUS STGv2

Hello,

I would like to know what is exactly DEWESoft doing when we are testing one channel at a time (self check) ?

Also, should we disconnect the sensor on the input ? Is the connected sensor influencing or could influence the check ?

Dear Maxime,

The selfest measures how accurate the Excitation voltage is compared to the set voltage. The amplifier uses the sense lines to regulate that voltage. Basically, if you set Excitation at 5 V, the sense lines will measure that voltage and call for an increase or decrease depending on the measured voltage.

Plug/unplug doesn't make any difference at my side.
