Omega Load Cell

I have an Omega LCHD-2K load cell. I am using an sirius-hd-16xstgs and looking to make sure i set up and wire correctly to the dsub9 connector.

The transducer you have is almost certainly a full Wheatstone bridge, so I suggest wiring accordingly:

Excitation is at 10 V and Shunt is "to In-".

Note that I suggest 6 wire configuration, Sns+/- and Exc should be connected close to the sensor and 6 wire configuration chosen for Bridge wiring of sensor.

The sensor was calibrated using 59 kOhm shunt, but we only have a 100 kOhm one in the amplifier. To compensate for this we use the sensor setup parameters as on picture below:

The check button will recalculate how the voltage is different from the calibration shunt and check if everything is ok. After inputting the shunt cal target you can change the units to lbf.
