IOLite ACC bandwidth

Hello,

I need to measure airborne noise up to 16kHz. I have IOLite R12 rack units with 8* ACC which allows sampling rates up to 40kHz.

When I set this up in DewesoftX, setting the Dynamic aquisition rate at 40,000Hz I see the reported bandwidth is 15625Hz (2.56 attenuation of fs).

The spec sheet for the modules however show that the alias free bandwidth is 0.499*fs (19,960Hz).

Is the bandwidth reported on top left of ch. setup just a generic or something? What would be my actual bandwidth with the above setup please?

Furthermore I think that 0.499 of the spec sheet may be a typo... I would expect it to be a lower number than the -3dB bandwidth.
