inclonometer
im looking to see if this is compatible with my sirius hardware and if so how to set up

Dear Paul,
thank you for reaching out to us. Looking at the specifications the sensor support thee type of outputs RS-232, RS-485 and TTL.
Sirius does not have a dedicated RS-232/485 serial input port.
For the RS-232 communication you would need to use an RS-232 to USB adapter for connection. Then use our SerialCOM plugin to read the data from device. You can request for a 30-day trial license to test the plugin.
The sensor outputs the TTL signal - optional. Some Sirius devices have counter (CNT) inputs for digital signals. However in the specification sheet there is only wiring diagram for the RS-232/485 communication. Does your sensor support TTL signal output? If yes can you please provide more information.
Kind regards.
@Gregor Šmit how about the analog version by the way im using the siriusie-hd-16xstg https://www.analogtechnologies.com/document/TS-2322-R04.pdf
Dear Paul,
from the specifications the sensor requires min of 20 mA of current but typically 50 mA. STGS module can provide only 45 mA (350 mW max. power). We suggest to use external power supply for powering the sensor. From the page 3 of the specifications there should be three output wires Grey, Orange and Brown. On the image below is the wiring for the U YOUT output connected to channel AI 5. The U XOUT should be connected to another STGS channel input i.e. AI 6: the Output Ground will be connected to In- and bridged to Gnd pin and U XOUT will be connected to In+ pin.
Kind regards.
