Doubt on connection

Good morning everybody. In our company we have a Sirius datalogger. We'd like to attach a 3-wire bridge to it. What is unclear to me (sorry, but I'm not very experienced) is how to setup the connection. Specifically, in the attached picture I've found the connection scheme. Is the red part inside the datalogger or should I connect all that in parallel to the connector?

Also, what does it mean when there are components on the left side of the connector like in this case?

Thanks

Hi,

you are correct the left side is what's inside the SIRIUS. You just need to connect the 3 wires (blue part on my picture) to the correct pins. Also you should connect together pins 3 to 7 and 8 to 2 (blue circles).

The components on the left is a wire diagram of the bridge inside the module.

I have just another question. I'm looking for a 4-woire resistance measurement and I've found it in the manual. But what's the difference in the attached pic between the continuos line (like the one between 1 and 6) and the dotted line (like the one between 2 and 6)? Thanks.

The continuous lines mean that this wire has to be connected and the dotted line means that the pin can be connected one way or another. I attached a picture of both options.Depending on the connection the measurement may differ a little bit.
