Hello,

I have some calibration reports of a few Dewesoft equipments. I would like to have more details about all the calibration tests.

First, the Krypton 8xRTD :

  • In the "Functionality tests" at the end, for each channel there is a "3-wire resistance check", I would like more details about the process behind this "check" ?
  • In the "Resistance input accuracy", I suppose that you simulate a 4-wire RTD ?

Have a nice day !

Dear Sepi Sund,

these are the answers:

  1. The 3-wire resistance check is performed similarly to the regular resistance check. The only difference is that the connector type is set to 3-wire for this channel. Then we measure the mean value over some time of the signal on the channel we are currently checking. The test passes if the signal in the channel is in the range of +/- 2 Ohm of reference resistance.

  2. Yes, the Resistance input accuracy test is performed on the 4-wire configuration of the device.

Best regards.
