Angle calculation from Sin/Cos signal out of hall effect sensors

we have two hall effect sensors with analog output of approximately 0.2v pk-pk. As the sensors are orthogonal we can use the outputs to calculate the rotation angle.

Theta = arctan(A1/A2).

Is there an easy way to set this up in the math software.

We would ideally want the fastest possible caulculation to give the best possible angular resolution.

Speed of rotation is up to 300krpm.

Dear Sean,

Angle sensor math can be used to measure rotational angle. The sensor needs to be define in Counter sensors in Editors section. You will have to set the correct trigger edge and level of signal. The output is Trigger, Frequency and Angle channel.
