Hello,
We are trying to connect single-axial capacitive accelerometers (MEMS) by Kistler -> Type 8316A in the Dewesoft Sirius HD-LV.
According to the datasheet, the sensor pinout is:
- 1- Power,
- 2- Return
- 3- N/C
- 4- Output +
In the dewesoft side:
- Exc + (1) and Sns + (6). (Power +)
- Exc - (3) and Sns - (8) (Power -)
- In + (2)
- In - (7)
So we connector is done as follows in dsub9
- Power
- Output +
- Return
- GND from TEDS
- N/C
- Power
- N/C
- Return
- TEDS
+ shield connected.
The problem is that we are getting too much noise in the signal (find picture attached)
Any idea??

Dear Carlos,
thank you for sharing the connection details. I have noticed that you are using a 3-wire sensor. In this case the Pin7 needs to be manually connected to GND.
Please see the picture below:
The missing connection is marked with the bright green colour.
Please let us know if this helped.
Best Regards.
Rok
